The blade on our Bread Slicer is intended for use in industrial bread slicing machines.  By attaching this blade to our wooden handle, it becomes a great bread knife for home use.  The design of the blade is such that with a gentle sawing motion you can easily slice all kinds of breads making it easier to use than some traditional bread knives.
 
Stainless Steel Blade is double-ground and serrated.  Very thin and very sharp!
The blade is ultra-thin allowing it to slice easily through the bread.
Our wooden handle is bowed (bent in slightly) to attach the blade.  This makes the blade very taut so that it will not flex when slicing.
